Green Day: Rock Band is now available for sale in the U.S. for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Computer, and Wii gaming systems. This new addition to the Rock Band cannon lets you play play up to 47 songs as Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt or Tré Cool through their expansive career from their humble beginnings with Dookie to full blown stardom with American Idiot and 21st Century Breakdown, with unique visuals and venues all inspired by Green Day.

Harmonix and MTV Games announced today that a five pack of songs from Alice In Chains will be added next week to the Rock Band Music Store. Those five songs will be:

One of the huge holiday titles for 2007 was undoubtedly Rock Band. It became quite hard to find the bundle after the initial shipment to the point where the game was actually delayed a month in Canada in anticipation of the high demand.
